Steve brings over 30 years of experience in the technology events industry. As the former CEO of Canalys, he built and led conferences attracting more than 50,000 attendees across APAC and EMEA, establishing himself as one of the most respected figures in tech event management.

His deep understanding of what makes events succeed at scale - from logistics and operations to audience engagement - has been instrumental in shaping Canapii's platform. Steve's experience running major analyst events gave him first-hand insight into the gaps in event technology, which ultimately led to co-founding Canapii.
